We are a family church, rooted in God looking to serve Barton in the Beans, surrounding villages, and beyond.

There's always lots going on at Barton Chapel, something for everyone, but the real reason for all the different activities is to enable people to be introduced to Jesus Christ in a real way. The Bible tells us that it doesn’t matter what background we have, what age we are, or what our station in life is, we need to be right with God. The only way to be right with God is to have a real living relationship with Jesus Christ through His work on the cross for us.

Purpose
A Wonderful World
The world we live in has many wonderful and beautiful parts to it. It is truly amazing, its order, detail and variety speak to us of design and a creator God.
A Spoilt World
Though the world is amazing, yet there are many things that are awful. The Bible tells us that we live in a spoilt world, a world that is spoilt by mans rejection of God. Mankind has rejected God and distanced ourselves from God by our rejection of His ways.
A Troubled World
Not only is the world spoilt, but it is a world of trouble for us, each one of us faces so many difficulties and troubles in our lives, often our lives have sadness, sickness, stress and ultimately death. We live troubled lives.
A Loving God
Even though we rejected God, He loves us so much, so God sent His son to be our Saviour, Jesus did this by dying on a cross 2000 years ago, by doing this He paid the debt we could not pay ourselves, for the wrong things we have done, with His own life.
A Wonderful Solution
God does not force His love upon us, He offers a free gift of a new beginning and an eternity with Him in Heaven. This free gift is undeserved and cannot be paid for, but it can be received by any who will accept it.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
